Its name means the 'summer mountains' and by contrast with the mountains of the north the Jol-hok range in the precinct does indeed have a mild climate. A bridging landmass between these once separate precincts was granted by Merin Seadar so the Tongs could more easily transfer their troops to the western coast to help fight his war against the Empire of the Wen.

To this day, the Tong have large armies stationed here who make up a significant portion of any future imperial army if it came to war once again.
