Varloc Clade was the ruler of Sondonia and one of the original Seven Lords appointed by High King Aelarian II. He was the son of Ethlan Clade, the Archduke of Silvanthra, the second-largest province of Gaiza. Even before inheriting his father’s title, Varloc sought influence in the southern regions, securing trade and resources to expand his power. His lineage traced back to the royal bloodline of the Borro Aelvari, an ancient Aelvari empire that ruled over most of Eredonia for millennia. During his reign, Varloc practiced dark magic, eventually raising an army of Orcs, creatures formed through his sorcery. His experiments transformed the southern forests into an unnatural mist-covered land, feared by all who entered. When he unleashed his forces upon Gaiza, full-scale war erupted. Despite his strength, Varloc was ultimately defeated, and as punishment, he was banished from the mainland. He fled to the island of Demoña in the west, where he established his rule in exile. His actions led to the collapse of the High Table, and his legacy remains one of fear across Eredonia.
