Gimfal was the ruler of Broga and one of the original Seven Lords appointed by High King Aelarian II. He was the son of Clanmaster Garnon of the Broga Clan, the largest and most powerful clan in the Northern Mountains. His family traced its lineage to Randor Berdin, the dwarf who first united the various dwarven clans into a single Clandom of Broga. As king, Gimfal reinforced dwarven unity through strong governance, craftsmanship, and military organization. His reign saw the fortification of mountain strongholds, expansion of underground cities, and the growth of Broga’s famed smithing and mining industries. His leadership ensured that the dwarven kingdom remained a powerful force in Eredonia.
However, after the death of his last descendant, Valendor, the Clandom of Broga fractured as the major clans reclaimed their independence. This marked the end of the dwarven monarchy and the return of clan-based rule, with multiple powerful factions controlling different regions of the Northern Mountains.
