The Western Kingdom expanded its territory since the end of the Qamarian War, but their attempt to conquer the western regions of Qamaria was perceived as a declaration of war against a major Qamarian bandit clan. The war began in 1695 ADM with significant losses on both sides. However, after two years of conflict, the Eastern Kingdom came to the aid of the Western Kingdom, and together they emerged victorious in 1698 ADM.
