Previous Episode: Sands of Time - S01 E08
After a long trip away from the Coins & Cloaks fortress by rowboat, the adventurers landed on a serene beach where they encountered Jif, a satyr lounging under a parasol. Jif revealed a magical binding contract with Revek, stipulating the return of the Sands of Time, now known to be Abby. Refusing to comply, the adventurers were teleported to the Feywild as a penalty. In the Feywild, they met Tom, a talking cat, who directed them to Jerry, a third-person-speaking mouse. On their way to Jerry's home, they encountered Ben, a unicorn, who encouraged them to follow Jerry. Meanwhile, Emberglow and Jack ‘Jacky’ Can took a different path and were tested by a sleeping lion. They confronted their reflections, acknowledged their shortcomings, and earned a red orb.
Reunited, they arrived at Jerry's house, where a wise owl posed a riddle. Solving it granted them a blue orb. A small fairy challenged them to a game of charades, awarding them a green orb. Directed to a magical pond, they lured down a faerie dragon with a chicken and impressed him with John Cutter's pistol, earning the final white orb. Combining the orbs, they activated a totem with a hex spell, transporting them to the Halifal Tops. Here, they encountered Monk Gyato, Jack Can's former master. Sharing their story, they learned that Revek, with Abby, was en route to the Coins and Cloaks fortress to seek John Cutter's help in restoring the Sands of Time, potentially at Abby's expense.
