The session resumes as the players, recently escaped from the guards at the castle, navigate through the dark tunnels beneath Castle Eldar. After a long walk, they arrive at a small, dusty room where they find a large statue resembling an ancient king, with an inscription in an unknown language. They are presented with two diverging paths and decide to split up: Coco and Kohros take the right corridor, while Yllaleth and Vera go left. Coco and Kohros soon come across a room with broken graves, surrounded by pots and vases filled with gold, revealing that they are inside the tomb of Therald's ancestors. They discover two graves marked with the names Merbul and Anavyre. Merbul was the son of Valorin, who wielded the artifact known as the Heartseeker, a compass said to point to the user’s greatest desire, which he used to conquer what is now Egador. As they examine the room, a shadowy figure briefly appears around the corner before vanishing, prompting them to call out to Yllaleth and Vera.

Meanwhile, Yllaleth and Vera, after encountering more graves from Therald’s lineage, are careful to avoid potential traps as they advance through the left corridor. Hearing Coco and Kohros yelling, they regroup and continue together into the next room, which holds the graves of Falos I and his daughter Idoric. These graves appear intact, and they press on. In a tense moment, Coco accidentally triggers a trap, and a dart shoots into his arm. It spreads a necromantic curse, threatening to slowly turn him into a zombie, urging the group to search desperately for a cure. Pressing forward, they come across more broken graves and eventually find a library. While searching for information on the curse, they encounter an animated skeleton named Ardon, who introduces himself as the son of Dasteus Egador, the first lord of Favelion. Friendly and helpful, Ardon guides the party on crafting an antidote called donkeykicking, which can counter the curse. Grateful, the party continues deeper into the tomb until they arrive at a small throne room where the preserved remains of Dasteus sit on a throne.

Their exploration is interrupted as three undead zombies emerge, forcing the players into battle. After dispatching the zombies, they venture to a room containing Valorin’s magnificent golden grave, and behind it, a statue of Valorin’s wife, who holds her hand near her heart. Opening the grave reveals Valorin’s remains but no sign of the Heartseeker. They find it hidden behind the statue’s hand, clutching it as if over her heart. Noticing that the feet of the statue can be aligned, they shift it to reveal a hidden passage leading to the tomb’s exit, concluding the session.
