The Borro Kingdom is the ancient elven realm of Aesa, situated in the north-west of Eredonia above Aclea. Once the heart of the mighty Borro Empire, which ruled much of the continent, the kingdom now represents the last surviving stronghold of that former imperial power. Though its borders and influence have greatly diminished, the monarchy of House Borro has endured for thousands of years. Aesa is dominated by the vast Borrorain Forest, where most of its Aelvari population lives in secluded settlements hidden beneath the ancient trees. Humans, known as Aesiars, and members of other races inhabit villages along the forest edges, rivers and limited areas of farmland. Despite its diverse population, Aesian society remains strongly shaped by elven traditions, language and law.
The kingdom is ruled from Cloakfell, a majestic city concealed deep within the northern forest and home to more than 200,000 inhabitants. The monarch, Adreth Borro governs through an old and highly structured royal court, supported by noble houses, druids, scholars and regional guardians. Although the Borro Kingdom is now only a shadow of the empire it once controlled, it remains one of the oldest and most mystical realms in Eredonia. Its forests preserve countless secrets from the earliest ages, while its ancient monarchy continues to see itself as the guardian of Aelvari culture and the rightful heir to the legacy of the Borro Empire.
