Beren was the god of war, retribution, and tribulation in the old Targuite Pantheon. He was often at odds with the other gods of the pantheons — especially his brother, Nyvian — due to his belligerent and impulsive nature. Beren was one of the first gods to confront Zilmanok in the () and is believed to have perished in the fight.
