Hilgulir was once the center of dwarven society in Irkasy. Many of its inhabitants were killed during the final battle with The One Who Lurks Beneath the Ice. The city’s population never recovered from the losses; the remaining dwarves either left of their own accord to join their kin in Tharelduhr, or were driven out by the then-adult Kyldaross centuries later.
