The bloodsap tree is one of the most important trees in eladrin culture, as it yields several remedies and balms. Bloodsap trees are considered sacred and can only be harvested by designated members of each community.
Bloodsap
Bloodsap is a thick, crimson red sap harvested from trees of the same name. It is prized by eladrin warriors for its fast-acting and potent healing powers and appears to have evolved specifically to interact with their physiology.
Consumable, rare
As an action, a creature may apply bloodsap to their wounds. The creature regains 40 hit points over the course of 1 minute (4 hit points at the start of each of the creature's turns), after which the creature is also cured from poison and disease. If the creature is an eladrin, the effects are instantaneous.
Druid's Bark
Consumable, rare
A bitter, fibrous bark harvested from the bloodsap tree. A creature may chew on the bark instead of consuming a ration in order to stave off hunger, but repeated consumption may prove hazardous.
