- His family crest is that of two ravens standing back-to-back, one holding a key in its talons and the other a rolled-up scroll.
- Silviu has access to the restricted sections of the Royal Library and Observatory, and presumably the rest of the Royal Institutions.
- A portrait of a man bearing a striking resemblance to Silviu hangs over the entrance to the restricted sections of the Royal Library. When questioned about it, Silviu brushed it off, stating merely that his estate has made some donations to the institution.
- A music box which belonged to Silviu is now in the hands of Maeryn Glas. Some of the images painted onto its sides depicted sites within or near Ordzina which have been targeted by the Obsidian Blade.
- Silviu has apparently amassed a nearly limitless wealth of gold and resources; money seemed to be no object to him at the auctions, and he was ready to buy the party off for a tidy sum at the finals of the King's Games.
- One of the few remaining cultivators of the blue rose.
Known to Cloudy
- Silviu was once a member of the Obsidian Blade but cut ties with them when he found that he no longer agreed with their goals or their methods.
- Has an intense rivalry with Lady Eleanor Morgan, potentially dating back to their days in the Obsidian Blade. She claims he is a "very dangerous man," and that Cloudy should be cautious in his dealings with him.
- Silviu is, at the very least, a hundred or so years old. After some cajoling, he's admitted to personally knowing Ivan Mykhajlovych Korzh, who died almost a century ago.
- Silviu seemed to be close to Ivan; the Obsidian Blade specifically murdered him as an act of retribution for something that Silviu did.
- Likely the "benefactor" that has been supplying various individuals with magical items and funding Mr. Kozma's research.
- Cloudy saw Kazimir speaking with Marceli Kozma (who was previously believed to the benefactor) in private; Kazimir wanted the notes that Marceli had, and Marceli asked to arrange an in-person meeting with the donor funding his research.
- Cloudy found anonymous documents in Mr. Kozma's private quarters detailing the inner workings and capabilities of the bomb used at the Cathedral, along with a promise of funding and several threatening letters warning Marceli to follow the instructions given to him. Cloudy also found a letter which matched the Benefactor's handwriting, but which he suspected was written by Kazimir.
