"Malam Ardhonad" (Malamite Empire) in Elvish
The Malamite Empire was an expansionist and Elvish-supremacist empire located in northern Yekare. It was founded by exiles from the Leorbar, who were cast out due to their Elf-supremacist beliefs. They resettled in the north and built a large empire, subjugating the local barbarian tribes. They were a major regional power and frequently made war against their neighbors. Racial purity was a key part of life in Malam, and the Empire had a race-based caste system, with "pure" high elves occupying the highest ranks while "lesser" elves (wood elves, dark elves, etc) are just below, followed by other Beldkind. Half-Elf occupied the lowest part of the racial caste system as race-mixing was seen as a great sin in Malamite culture.
Fourth Age
Malam was conquered by Pelegon I during the Pelegonic Conquest. As Emperor, Pelegon I began the process of deconstructing the Malamite racial laws and creating a more equal society. Today, the former territories of Malam remain under Imperial Governorships with a strong military presence to enforce the dissolution of Malamite racial hierarchy laws.
