The Spotted Sea is the southernmost Great Sea and is located south of Yekare. The Sea is dotted in thousands of islands, many of which are inhabited by city-states, confederations, small empires, and tribal communities. The Sea is host to large amounts of piracy and small trade routes. The Spotted Sea is home to a large population of Satyr, Centaur, Firbolg, and other forest folk who were displaced by the urbanization brought by Pelegon when it took over Yekare

Economically, the Spotted Sea is as diverse as its denizens. It is a land of immense wealth and great pirate kings, but also deep poverty and destitution, and many in the Spotted Sea struggle to find even water to drink Thievery, piracy, and banditry are all common jobs undertaken to survive. The most popular employment in the Spotted Sea is sailing. The geography of the islands makes sailing a necessity and normal part of life. To many more, it also represents an escape from the isles. People commonly take up sailing at a young age, moving out from home in their early teens to make their fortunes on merchantmen, pirate ships, even passing ships serving many of the World's great empires.

The Spotted Sea is at once claustrophobic and seemingly endless, a wide field of islands and small nations. Many people feel the call to adventure naturally, coming of age and taking a ship to adventure beyond the isles.

The most prominent city in the Spotted Sea is Capua Franto.
