Kesai is a confederacy of Nuqabi in the Ba'hram Desert. It is one of the most powerful Badawi tribes of the deep desert, and commands a great deal of respect and clout from other Badawi peoples. Peacocks are of critical cultural importance to the Kesai due to their role in the founding of their nation. Kesai is ruled from the Nuqab of Tapendos by the Peacock Prince, though the Shah's power is severely limited by the other Nuqabi, which are ruled by satraps.
