Urq'ukuna is a democratic republic located on the island of urq and its surrounding isles off the coast of Ticemehua. Urq'ukuna is a peaceful nation, known as a strong trade power. However, in the interests of protecting its profits, it is also one of the continent's strongest naval powers and extends patrols up to Narthus and Indawo.

Urq'ukuna was once a monarchy and the republic maintains monarchal symbolism as a means of demonstrating its dedication to popular sovereignty. The K'umpuhat wears the golden crown of the monarchy and sits upon the ancient monarchal throne.
