The Mannic peoples were the ancient race of Beldkind. They were specifically the immortal and powerful inhabitants of the Deshenite Kingdom. The Mannic peoples were as diverse as all of Beldkind is, though Mannic culture is seen as far more wise, relaxed, calm, reasoned, and enlightened. This is believed to be a result of Man's immortality and their proximity to the Gods during the time of Deshen. The Mannic peoples possessed Golden Eyes.
The Mannic peoples were immortal, possessing the eternal appearance of youth, and incredibly skilled with magic. They were naturally imbued with magical abilities and had the power to do amazing things.
Though very few of the Mannic peoples still remain today, and only as the rare few who retained immortality, Mannic culture, appearance, and architecture has evolved into Kardunashi culture, as the city has been continuously inhabited since the time of the Mannic peoples. In addition, the mysterious city of Pashayos and its Veiled Ones may also be direct cultural descendants of the Mannic peoples, as their city may have been continuously inhabited since the First Age or Second Age. However, all of Beldkind is culturally descended from the Mannic peoples, who scattered and subsequently evolved into the various Ethnicities after the Fall of the Kingdom of Mankind and the Great Flood.
