Nys is a major city of the Free Cities and the largest city of the Gulf. The city lies in the Gulf of Nys, which it lends its name to. It is customary for the heir to House Agenos to be named Prince/Princess of Nys. While House Agenos may officially make its home in Crab Keep, its members spend most of the time in Nys and usually govern from Nys.
Nys was built by the Kardunashi and was the first permanent Kardunashi settlement in Yekare.
