Bloodstone is a castle in Byuntun. It is an imposing structure, made of bright red stone which stands out against the stark white landscape it sits in. The origin of Bloodstone is steeped in legend, as it and its ruling house House Sanguil even predate the Kaliga tribes who would come to inhabit the land around it. Some legends claim that the castle was raised by blood magic, or that the stone is blood which was somehow converted to stone through dark sorcery. The lands around Bloodstone were long regarded as cursed by the Kaliga tribes, giving the Sanguils free reign over their lands until the coming of the Byuntun Empire, which conquered and vassalized the castle and its lords.
