House Mannos of the Old Castle is a noble house sworn to House Odios Pelegon. They are an ancient lineage which has resided in the Old Castle for millennia. The Mannic blood of Abuleth runs thick in House Mannos, and most of them have Golden Eyes and golden hair.
House Mannos was founded in the early years of the Third Age by Kenar bar-Han Mannos, the great-grandson of Abuleth, second King of Mankind. They are among the oldest and most distinguished lineages in the entire empire and reigned as Kings in the Old Castle for many millennia before the Pelegonic Conquest.
A distinguished and powerful house, ruling over rich goldmines, House Mannos is amongst the Empire’s wealthiest and most influential houses. Their lands lie along the River Mern, fertile and rich, only made more so since the construction of Arcanopolis.
House Mannos has a longstanding feud with House Arcanos, dating back to the times when they were neighboring monarchs before the Pelegonic Conquest. Enmity between the two houses has increased since the Conquest, as House Arcanos converted to the Pelegonic Faith while House Mannos continues to observe their ancient Deshenite cult.
