The King of Mankind was the ruler of the Deshenite Kingdom and by extension all of Beldkind in the ancient days of the First Age and Second Age. The most notable King of Mankind was Deshen, the first King. Though the title no longer exists, the impact of Deshen and his lineage is strong on the world. Many noble lineages claim descent from Deshen or his children, as sources of legitimacy.
