In the southernmost part of the world is the frigid, barren, and snowswept continent of Hatmagal. It is sparsely inhabited. On the coast are the Samari, mysterious icy peoples who tell oral histories of a great inalnd empire in a bygone era of warmth and greenery. On the jaggedplateau are the Frost Giant, a very mysterious and reclusive people.
Deeper inland, the continent gets much more inhospitable. An endless snowstorm dominates much of the continent, and legends say that dark monsters lurk in the endless fog and blizzard.
