Great Pyramid of Nemish

Building
The Nemishite pyramids are the cornerstone of their architectural portfolio, so of course their greatest city houses their greatest pyramid. Its construction was overseen by Davshad himself and if some boasts are to be believed, he is also its chief architect. It is a home for both the living and the dead. Every Pharaoh and Phanaoh has lived in its high halls and been buried in its ancient crypts.

The Great Pyramid of Nemish is the largest building in Nemish. It is the residence of the House of Davshad and the center of government of Dasurkat.

The base of the Great Pyramid was constructed of granite and covered with brass, the middle is made of sandstone, and the top is made of bright limestone. The very top of the Great Pyramid has a golden statue of a harpy, a creature of mythological significance to the Nemishites. The Great Pyramid is the tallest structure in the city, standing at nearly half a kilometer tall. By law, no building in Nemish is permitted to be taller than the Great Pyramid, and because of this it is visible from anywhere in the city.

Besides being a residence, the Great Pyramid is also the tomb of the House of Davshad, and the mummies of nearly every Pharaoh from Davshad to the modern Hatya are interred in its crypts.
