The Frost Giants are the native Nephilim of Hatmagal. They inhabit the Land of the Giants. The Frost Giants are poorly understood owing to their extreme isolation and shyness.
In the Nor'kosh'ti, the Frost Giants call themselves the Plah-kar or-Fryoon, meaning "Kissed by the Cold."
Frost Giants typically stand at twenty-one feet tall. The Frost Giants have pale blue or grey skin, bright blue eyes, and white hair. Frost Giants are immune to cold, being fundamentally comprised of ice, however they are not immune to the fierce blizzard winds of their land and therefore typically adorn themselves in tough fabrics and armor to protect themselves from the howling tempests common in their lands.
Frost Giants are more commonly seen than many of their cousin races (excepting Stone Giants) as they are known to trade with the few merchants who brave the deadly trip to Hatmagal. They offer skins, meat, and bones of the various monsters which roam the ice wastes, which are of great value for culinary, medicinal, and magical purposes. They trade for metal tools, armor, and other goods which they cannot create.
Frost Giant culture is poorly understood. They govern themselves in some sort of democracy. Though they are also nomadic, wandering the continent in small bands. It is speculated that they are worshippers of Decte, as their only exception to the strict rule of isolationism is in guiding members of the Order of the Time Sages to Tahkeeb Mahai. This implies that Decte is important enough to the Frost Giants as to take precedence over their cultural preference for isolation.
Frost Giants lay their dead to rest in Ta'hemat.
Frost Giants are gifted in Pagomancy.
