The eight schools of magic, whose symbols are derived from the symbols of the Octarchs
The Octarchs were the eight Elohim worshipped by the Octarchy following the shattering of Tovun. All eight were pieces of Tovun which contained Her soul and gained sentience and will before landing in different parts of the world. Each was encountered and subsequently bargained with and worshipped by Beldkind.
