House Goodrose of the Rushwater is a noble house founded in V 405.
During the events of the Swamprot Crisis, Princess Olyvia Orthed, daughter of King of the Motherlands Othello X Orthed defied her father to investigate and expose his dark deeds. She would ally with the Friends of the Queen and the Spice Caravaneers to help overthrow her father, rescue his son and wife, and prevent his ritual from taking place. For her service, she was granted the castle of the Rushwater by personal decree of Cordos I, though his death prevented him from officially bestowing the castle upon her, leading Zottyah IV to do so as one of her first acts as Shahanshah.
