The Plot of the Silver Rope was a conspiracy hatched by Lady Yrin Blackwolf, her son and heir Sir Edrick Blackwolf, as well as many other loyalist members of the Imperial Court to rescue surviving members of the Imperial Family following Abba's Coup. The attempt partially succeeded. Prince Adrastus and the infant Darion Zur'kein, bastard son of Prince Pelegon, were rescued, but Prince Pelegon was unable to be saved. In the aftermath of the plot, Abba I ordered the captive prince starved to death.
