22nd Shahanshah

Narysa I Pelegon was the 22nd Shahanshah. She took power in a coup against her brother Sethon I and ruled until she too was overthrown. 

Following her defeat, she was imprisoned in the dungeons of the Golden Palace and shortly thereafter died of a sudden illness, though it was widely whispered that Shahanshah Adrastus II had her poisoned.

Though she was Shahanshah, she never truly ruled all of Pelegon, as much of the Empire refused to acknowledge the legitimacy of her claim to the throne.
