The Prince of Dasurkat has been the ruling title of the House of Davshad since the Pelegonic Conquest. As the title of Pharaoh was claimed by House Pelegon, Pelegon I, the Prophet chose to grant the title of "Prince" to the House of Davshad as they ruled Dasurkat in his name.
