Ardo Oldblood was the Lord of Westwatch and head of House Oldblood during the reigns of Oderion II, Oderion III, and Vidorion I. A firm supporter of Oderion II and III, he rose in revolt against Vidorion I with other disgruntled vassals in the War of the False Daughter. He was executed for his treason.
When he learned of Lord Ardo's treachery, Vidorion I called him the "Pompous Fool of Westwatch," and historians have generally concurred with the Emperor's assessment of Lord Ardo's character.
