Oderion III Pelegon, often remembered as Oderion the Patricide, was the 6th Shahanshah. 

As he grew older, Oderion often feuded with his father over his tyranny and misrule. Prince Oderion fell in love and eloped with the lowborn blacksmith's apprentice Roshana. This act enraged his father, who had the woman and her family drawn and quartered while forcing his son to watch. Two weeks later, Oderion would kill his father and become Shahanshah, though he never recovered from the traumas of losing his sister, wife, family-in-law, and murdering his father. These traumas, combined with the ongoing Vidorion's War, led him to set himself alight and leap from the Golden Palace as Prince Vidorion and his forces besieged Arcanopolis, he had only reigned for two months. 

While his legal heir was his younger brother, Vidorion's War ended shortly after his death and the Imperial Election of V 90 chose Vidorion I instead.
