Roya Aran was the Lady of Highwall and head of House Aran during the Years of Blood and Iron. The shrewd Lady Roya initially remained neutral, but declared for the Beldonians in V 193 in exchange for the betrothal of her son and heir, Navyd Aran, to Princess Sirdyssa Pelegon. Her support led to the decisive Beldonians victory at the Battle at the Pass of Highwall.
