An organization of fighting men and women. Fighting orders generally consist of a number of knights-bachelor, but may also have a “commonality” of simple warriors. Fighting orders are usually devoted to some “high purpose,” such as the religious conversion of a barbaric region or the protection of an important individual or institution.
