Brishold Theran is seasoned warrior, having mustered out of the Shiran Legion in the Thardic Republic 16 years ago. He formed a mercenary company that escorted caravans and important travelers and did so successfully for years. About 10 years ago a brutal attack by Harbaalese pirates convinced him to find a more secure base of operations. He purchased a building in Cherafir and "retired" here. He leads a mercenary company "Brishold's Company" housed in the Alienage, the port area on the east side of Cherafir. He also owns a few small buildings and some land east of Halain outside of Cherafir that the Company uses for training and maneuvers. Brishold's mercenary company takes contracts from a wide variety of clients, including some from Lythia, and can claim to have never have left a contract unfulfilled.
Brishold sponsors all Rangers, all Druids, some Fighters, Barbarians (except Kuboran and Urdu), and all Monks except Cobalt Soul for the mission to recover the stolen tomes for the Shadow Agents arc.
