  • In the morning, Askelon returns to the Homeward Sail, followed shortly by Weyliri.
  • Askelon takes the group upstairs and tells them about his messages.
  • Askelon and Hjalgrimm visit Raelir privately.
  • Faelon and Rook go to the Woodworker and Toymaker of Rosear Island. Purchase old man mask and hag wig (35sp). Purchase Oni mask (25sp), hear about a manuscript for a play called The Demon of Tenkatsu. Keleb Cartography may have a copy.
  • Visit Edwynas Weapons, ogle the very expensive Sindarin chain mail.
  • Visit Keleb Cartography, purchase playbook of The Demon of Tenkatsu (12gp). Stemys Keleb asks if Faelon is from Shoju or Diramao? Faelon tells him that the play reminds him of his home in Shoju. Keleb asks if Faelon has any maps to sell, as he desires maps from that area of the world. Faelon produces the map he drew of his travels from Shoju to Cherafir. Keleb asks to makes a copy, and asks if Faelon will translate the chops. He pushes the 12gp back, but Faelon leaves 5gp on the counter. They will return tomorrow for the original map.
  • Prince Raelir Gelarhun takes the party on a tour of the Sindarin side of Ulfhafen, where few who are not Sindarin are ever allowed. Part of that tour is a beautiful pool called  Ailen-Tinen: Sparkling Fountain more than 100' in diameter with a column in the center rising 40'. Atop the pillar is a statue of King Daelda, the first King of Hârn and the first King of Evael. Seven fountains shoot 100' into the air from inside the pool. There are four huge marble arches around the pool, one to the north, east, south, and west. Each is elaborately engraved and painted with scenes and symbols of a season: Spring to the north, Summer to the east, Autumn to the south, and Winter to the west. Prince Raelir tells you all that as a gift, he will invite you to take one chalice of water from the Sparkling Fountain of Ailen-Tinen. You must choose an arch under which to drink from the chalice. There is a chance that Siem will notice you and send either a boon or a bane to you. You may only do this once in your lifetime.
  • Above the table, each arch has different properties. Spring is about perception and dexterity, Summer is about health and constitution, Autumn is about intellect and arcane/divine power, and Winter is about wisdom and life.
  • If you roll 01 you receive a major bane that can only be removed with a wish. Roll 02-05 and receive a minor bane that can be removed with a Remove Curse. Roll 96-99 and receive a minor boon. Roll 00 and receive a major boon.
  • You may clear your inspirations to roll on this fountain with advantage.
  • Do you choose to drink? If so, under which arch?
  • All drink. Faelon receives a curse that gives him disadvantage on all DEX saves. Rhyna receives a curse that gives her disadvantage on all CON saves.
  • Raelir takes the party on a tour of the walking paths, the River Song Inn, and the Rosear Ostler. They see the paladins guarding the entrance to the Taur-in-Aina, and learn that the Sindarin Campgrounds extend to the south and east.
  • Raelir takes the part to a performance at Elinlingal, the Starlight Amphitheater. Askelon's mother, Lady Murisyl Gelarhun, sits behind a magnificent harp with other Sindarin musicians to both sides in an arc. Two female Sindarin vocalist join them, and two female Sindarin dancers in diaphanous clothing. Weliri leaves the party and joins the dancers on stage. The party is treated to an hour of Sindarin music, singing, and dancing.
  • The party returns to the Homeward Sail for the night, leaving Weyliri at the campgrounds and Askelon at the Caer.

Nolus 14
Hjallgrimm sells the dwarven rye whiskey to the inn keeper. While we are chatting and drinking at the inn we notice both Hjallgrimm and Askelon appear to receives a sending message.

Before bed Rook makes sure that no one is watching him in the room and begins praying to Naveh for answers on some questions that he has been pondering. I roll extreamely well and gain all of the knowledge that I need to create the cantrip that I am looking for. Naveh also advised me that there are no brothers or sisters of Naveh anywhere near me so I should do best to keep my mouth shut.

Long Rest Nolus 15

In the morning Askelon gathers us in one of our rooms. He tells us that the earl that we encountered way back when has been sending people after us. He tells us that we need to dawn disguises or something to provide misdirection.
Askelon also tells us that his uncle sent him a message about the two war horses that returned without the riders, and the laranians are upset and that he has a plan to mess with the laranians. He also let us know that we should in the future we should destroy the skulls so they cannot cast speak with dead.

Faelon and Rook head to the woodworker/toyshop and we find: half face masks and full face masks as well as puppets. Rook finds a very creepy looking mask Faelon buys a mask resembling an oni and the store own tells him to visit Kaleb's cartography to get the script of the play.
Next we stop at the Hebryn goods store to see: nothing special. General goods store.
Then we head to the Edwynas weapons shop and see: impressively made weapons and armor. There is elven chain available here.
Finally we head to Kaleb's cartography where Faelon asks about the demon of tonkasu play and if Faelon could get the play script.

At noon Askelon comes to grab us to take us to his brother. The begin escorting us to the castle.
In the castle we meet askelons brother the prince as well as his other brother and his mother. He says that as a thanks he would like to give us a tour of the elven portion of the city that many travelers do not get to see. We stop by a fountain of Siem, he tells us that we can drink from it if we choose. The fountains have four sides. Autum is intellect. Winter is wisdom and life. Spring is Perception and dexterity. And finally Summer is health and constitution.

We head back to the human side of ulfshafen for the rest of the day.
