One of the two inns in Kobing, Kaldor. It is the quieter and more well-appointed than the Dragon and Damsel. The inn is named after the informal title of the Baron of Kobing. This is the favored watering hole of Oselmarch Army soldiers and mercenaries who travel with caravans. Brak Baphom is the proprietor. He will not hesitate to send unruly soldiers to the local healer with a smack of the metal-capped stump where his left hand used to be. The food is excellent, and lodging can be had in a common room (sleeps up to 10 and has a table and chairs), doubles, and singles.
The grounds for this tavern and inn are fenced in and contain a fairly nice stables with two hard-working stable hands. There is no ostler for this inn, as there is a guilded ostler at the Kobing Ostler nearby.
