Belloq

Belloq is the right hand man of Mando Caspian "The Mage".  A former explorer and archeologist, Belloq grew up with and was best friends with Han Duo.  They worked together for several years, but his reputation led to his employment by The Mage.  He left Duo for dead on an excavation, creating a rift in their friendship.  Belloq was captured and questioned, being tied up to a tree by Oyvind.  He escaped as the party went into the Lost Temple, and was later found waiting for the party at the Temple of Valkur.  During the encounter, Belloq was being held over the side of a bridge by Oyvind.  Instead of being captured again, Belloq slit his own throat, and he was “buried at sea.”  He was returned to life as a Deep Scion by an unknown power from the sea, and was later spotted by Matilda in the Hawthorne Guild Tavern asking about Duo and the Hawthorne guild members accompanying him.  He later kidnapped Duo’s new friend and companion, Daniel Stormhelm, and took him back to Freeport of Mintarn to The Mage.  The party recently learned he has left Mintarn in search of the final Keystone, taking The Mage’s other ship.
