Mando Caspian, better known as "The Mage" is a well known smuggler in the Freeport of Mintarn, his base of operations his Villa a short distance from the port town. The original owner of the Centennial Hawk, The Mage lost the ship in a card game (unfairly) to Han Duo.
The Mage has been working against Hawthorne Guild members, Han Duo, and Daniel Stormhelm in trying to find the lost keystones of the Temple of Valkur to destroy the relic contained inside. Guarded by his hand picked group of assassins, the Mage sent his agent, Belloq to thwart the group often.
After Belloq successfully captured Daniel Stormhelmand stole the Moonstone, The Hawthorne Guild members Vanna Kovain, Oyvind, Ashling of the Ride, Arkantos, and Matilda infiltrated The Mage's villa, killed him, and took his body.
