The town of Innsmouth boasts, among its attractions, the studio of a famous painter from Boston. Richard Upton Pickman made his fortune in that metropolis with his extraordinary artistic gifts, his works adorning the walls of only the wealthiest families of Massachusetts.
Later, after a short stay at his father’s house in Salem, Pickman moved to Innsmouth, where he can devote himself to his true passion: macabre art. In his 1 studio, the artist periodically holds exhibitions of his own work or that of other artists who portray terrifying creatures, horridly mutilated corpses and other such grisly images.
