On the crossroad between Waite Street and Town Square stands one of the places the local youth loves the most. It is furnished like a diner from the '60s, with old Walter Gilman himself wearing a black wig in honor of Elvis. Within, the angled counter separates the tables, arranged by the windows looking out on the street, from the bar and kitchen. Outside, above the entrance, looms a large sign with the mascot of the establishment, an anthropomorphic rat with a chef’s hat, a reference to a character from New England’s folklore.
