Aura Vanvoid

  1. On the Exodar, Oura was never a soldier or a mystic; she was a hull-mender, a laborer who used her massive Jotunborn strength to keep the ship’s crystalline architecture intact. When the blood elf sabotage caused the vessel to buckle mid-flight, a catastrophic breach tore open in the Engine Core. The atmosphere didn’t just leak out, the raw, pressurized vacuum of the Twisting Nether screamed in. While others fled the lethal radiation, Oura threw her massive frame into the gap, using her body as a living plug to keep the ship from decompressing. In those agonizing moments, the ship’s hyper-advanced alloys fused into her skin, while the freezing nothingness of the Void scoured her lungs, permanently hollowing out her spirit. Oura emerged from the wreckage as a "Void-Scarred" anomaly, a classified asset to the Alliance military and a freak to her own kind. She carries a piece of that outer silence with her; when she breathes, the air around her grows thin and cold, and when she strikes, it is with the crushing weight of a collapsing star. She joined the Wanderers’ Coalition to escape the stifling "pity" of the Light-worshiping Alliance, finding a strange, grim comfort among the Horde’s Forsaken and Blood Elves. They are the only ones who don't try to "fix" her. Oura knows that the Alliance’s golden dawn is bright and hopeful, but for eyes that have stared into the absolute nothingness of the Great Dark Beyond, that light feels like a blinding lie.a14526a0-0a09-434b-a840-18cf5d7bf442.png

Theia's Notes

Aura Vanvoid was born on Argus, they were once the Eredar, a highly advanced and peaceful people led by Prophet VelenKil'Jaeden, and Archimonde.

When a being called Sargerars calling himself "Giver of Gifts" arrived promising to take the lineage to the next stage of evolution, granting them absolute knowledge and the power to "unite" the universe under a single banner of order, Kil'Jaedenand Archimondeaccepted. Prophet Velen foresaw corruption and fled with those who would follow him.

The refugees became the Draeneithe Exiled — hunted across the stars by the Burning Legion.

They settled on Draenor, but the Legion corrupted the Orc, destroyed Draenei cities, and mutated many Draenei into the Broken. The final escape was made aboard the Exodar, a dimensional ship torn from Tempest Keep.

The core of the Exodar was infused into Aura, shaped by the crash and the energies that tore through the ship.

The Legion still hunts her, and the void still lingers inside her. Aura seeks power to purge that darkness and guide the Draenei toward a new dawn.

She follows the Allianceonly because of Prophet Velen, assigned Aura to the coalition after years of being used as a research subject by the Alliance. Her loyalty is to the Draenei, and she would follow Velen anywhere even to death.

Timeline note: Draenei track time poorly due to their long lifespans, but these events were roughly 50 years ago.
