We are going to investigate Kankalade (a small Tuskarr village near Cascala). First, we go shopping and I buy some useful spells and Gwyn remembers that she has not yet activated her potency rune.
The village has simple wooden log walls, a few hundred people live here. The guards stop us and shrug us off. They say that they do not have problems with any undead, and they do not wish for trade with Kascala. The shaman Noko says that he has learned the ways to appease the gods to preserve nature. He says that the Horde and Alliance have infected Cascala. 4 legged beasts hunted then, Murlocks stopped them from harvesting caviar and oil. He is angry with his predecessor for not listening to the gods. The people are punished by being tied to a post and left for the Scourge. They are saved from spider attacks, skeletons attacks, beast attacks, and Murloch attacks while mining oil. They are self sufficient in food. Gwyn asks him if his people are being hostile about the changes in regime, and the assistant, Ilyra, reacted to that. He insists that everything is perfect and his leadership is perfect. Ilyra suggests that she goes with us to request Cascala stop sending envoys.
She heard sounds in Noko’s hut at night. She saw people leaving, strangers. He disappeared for several days, and then returned saying he communed with nature and knew how to solve the problems. They were cloaked figures who were taller than Noko. After this, he became super adamant about people having doubt in their hearts, punishing them, pushing her away. Their village harvests oil and caviar from the nearby mud flats. The 4 legged beasts that they were being attacked by are the centaur looking creatures. If we can find evidence that these changes aren’t religious from Nanook, but are the work of something else, that should work (not like, a piece of paper). She recommends we check out the Murlocks in the mud flats or the geyser fields, or go north to investigate the magnataur (4 legged beasts).
We decide to head north to investigate the nagnataurs. The area before there is full of murlocks worked up and hiding. We see mechs fighting the murlocks. We wave and approach and it keeps its distance. We see that there is no pilot. There is a second mech that approaches. There are 4 and we fight therm. I found a symbol for a Horde drilling company and I would like to yell at them. We see them fighting merlocks around the region.
