Crowned Barrows, ruins of the Redwick palace
In the middle of the deepest swamps, drowned in a thick unnatural mist, there lyes the Crowned barrows, former palace of House Redwick.
A traveler brave and lucky enough to make it close to the palace and the citi surranding it might spot tall towers and large sections of ruined fortification emerging from the fog. With each step foward, an milenia old sorrow will grind his mind, as he will start hearing echos of the long gone past.
Slowly, as he will approach the main citi gate, the air will cool, and out of the thick fog will gradualy emerge a large stone arch, holding a gate made out of rotten wooden planks.
As he will enter the citi, all sound will dissapear, only the whispering voices will echo trough the ruins. As he slowly walks down the main street, buildings start emerging, one by one, first little houses, but after a while, they grow. Arches streching bettwen mansions appear. And then, the first corpses, skeletons, fallen over as they run away from the palace. All of them cariing treasure they stole. Non of them made it out.
But finaly, he will reach his destination. The palace its self. From the deepest mist, one by one, little towers start emerging, build out of stone that have seen more than any living beeing. And slowly, the entire structure becomes visible. A huge baroque palace, situated on a little hill in the middle of the citi. Statues laying broken on the ground, beautiful roofs rotten and destroyed, and from the middle of the palace, an evil aura.
As he gets closer to the center of the palace, walking trough abbandon halls, the spirit voices became louder, finaly he can hear what they are saiyng, "betrail" he listens to an ancient story of treachery and family murder.
Slowly, he enters the throne room. Time have striped the place of its former glory, leaving just raw stone and rotten wood. And on the throne sits a taal figure clad in royal armour. But as light iluminates its face, he notices there is non. Just a bare skull bearing an antient crown. And as he looks around, he sees 8 more thrones. Each occupied by diffrent resident. All of them just bones and armour.
Slowly, he turns around and leaves the throne room, palace and eventualy the citi it self. And as he walks out of the main gate, the mist slowly hides the citi from human eye.
