Winestone. Once a fortress of order, a beacon of hope in the north of the Lake Vitis. During the Age of Chaos, its defenders held the line in the surrounding ravine, fending of forces of Nurgle. Through staggering losses a victory was won and many lived. It should have been a monument of the tenacity of those who oppose the darkness. Alas, mortal memory is fickle and those who survived faced many more tragedies and as such, Winestone was forgotten and even centuries into the Age of Sigmar, it was not resettled. Until now.
In the dark cover of the night, the fortress found new denizens, ones whose aims are the antithesis to what the defenders of old stood for. Evil green light now pierce the dark nights and sound of chitter can be heard in the surrounding lands. The skaven have come and with them, ruination and misery.
