Hibisco

Somhow the General

Hibisco

Hibisco entered the story of Que y sus amigos for a simple reason: something was wrong with the forest.
The colours were shifting toward autumn where they should not have been, and curiosity—along with a healthy sense of concern—led him to investigate.

He did not expect answers. He certainly did not expect the Tea House.

Somewhere between asking what was happening, observing Que mid-speech, and being handed a cup of tea, Hibisco was informed—calmly and without ceremony—that he was now the general of the warband. No formal announcement followed. No objections were raised. The tea was already poured.

No one seemed particularly concerned by the fact that this Sylvaneth was not their Sylvaneth. Hibisco took a sip of the tea—and with it, the colours of autumn settled into his bark. Whether this was magic, coincidence, or simply the forest making a decision of its own remains unclear.

What is certain is that from that moment on, Hibisco stayed.
