Town cryer´s cries

Hear ye, hear ye, fair folk of the land!

Darkness creeps upon our realm! Foul beasts prowl our borders! Monsters and evil man

sharpen their claws and blades, preying of the peasants and travellers on the roads!

Hunger hunger hunger hunger hunger hunger hunger is taking root in the bellies of the poor! It would

seem, that only dark days are ahead!

But do not despair! Don’t moan and wail, for it may be a time of strife, but a time of strife

is a time of heroes as well!

Come forth, brave men and women, be ye of lowly birth or high, be ye a knight or a serf,

a peasant or a noble! Come forth and raise thy blades as one, whatever they may be,

for the young Margrave Carlos Otto Xavier Sextus Boniface, first of his name, has

returned to the realm and calls upon ye!

Let us march to war. Let us cleanse our land of evil! Let us feast on serve blood and

flesh justice and drive the beasts away!

Fear not the dark! Step forward and fight it! For thy honour! For thy lord and thy land!

There are many enemies to eat to fell! Join the forces of the brave under the Red Lily

banner!

A second parchment form the Chronicle of the of Lower Fleurieaux (a flayed skin with illegible scriblings)

After the battle of Monteqiaux, a camp was laid by the weary man. To lift their minds and ease the pain of wounded bodies the margrave allowed for a modest feast of a band of adventurers venison found in the woods. As the night day drew to a close, a call was heard from not afar. A call of wine and cups. The music ceased, the blades were drawn, the corpse  the meal, left uneateneateneateneaten, for everyone knew, the beasts from Monteqiaux have followed them. This call however was solitary. A single lone beast came forth. Its claws still sharp, an evil intent in its eye. And yet it did not draw wine blood. Slowly it moved throught the camp, surrouned by a blade of each side, it made its way to the margrave. With anger the liege stared at the beast, as everyone expected the order to slay the foul thing before them, or perhaps that the margrave himselfs will rip it apart  lay it to his blade. But then the clenched fist of the beast opened and it held a bone scroll. A message given by Sir Hugo Ignacius Gregor Damian II. of Amelier. A call to arms. The beast fell to its knees and the anger of our liege was gone. "Thy spoke of wine and cups, both of which I have plenty. You may have drawn blood like a beast, but you fought with honor of a knight. Come forth and drink of my wine at my table." The lord held a goblet to its maw as tears streamed down the beasts face and then we saw - twas no beast - but a man! And is if by spell, The beast shed his monsterous visage, his claws bacame hands as he was a given a new name and rose to his new station - Sir Bartholomew Amadeus Kingsley, the royal executor.
