Today, I found out that my supplies are starting to run low, so I sent scouts to find more. And find them they did—near some Stone Giants. The problem was that there was a camp of Orks and Goblins nearby, and the loot belonged to a certain Goblin Shaman.
We spread out a little; Queek Headtaker was in the middle with his Stormvermin, I was with the Rat Ogres on one wing, and the Clanrats were supported by Jezzails and a Doomwheel on the other. Queek planned to get into the enemy's back, but they were too close—close to each other and to the loot—and the enemy did not give him the opportunity.
So, I took the initiative and ventured a little closer. Suddenly, all the Orks on boars and other beasts charged toward me... and maybe toward the Clan rats, but who counts them as a target? When I saw the Ork Boss charging at me, I remembered my encounter with the Ogres, and at the last second, I teleported away.
After that, the Ork Boss slaughtered my Rat Ogres. Queek exchanged some blows with him, and the Ork Boss killed all the Stormvermin before retreating—because his Goblin Shaman had successfully stolen some of my magical supplies...
Next time I send for supplies from Blight city, I must call in some favors and request a Beastmaster or perhaps a Deathmaster...
