Bryan was a close friend to Pierre, who often visited him to hang out in Pierres greenhouse. They bonded as young teenagers because they looked so similar, though they were not of the same race, Pierre being a genasi, and Bryan being a human of Othalian origin. His function in the city was to oversee and guide the patrols that kept the borders of Stormhaven safe from the occasional intruder.
As a scout and hunter, Bryan was a fairly capable initiate to the Firebringers, though he had little to no affinity for spellcasting or mysticism.
Bryan warned Pierre of the dangers of the Pinewood, and the creepy girls that lived there along with a hag. Bryan had apparently sold his last breath to her in exchange for getting out safely of the woods.
