Hanro were said to master several martial disciplines, combining them to devastating effect. He was a heroic figure beloved by the people, having travelled the region far and wide in search of answers and divine insight. Some of the exotic techniques were said to be taught to him from elven masters in the northern icy realms.
In days long gone, Hanro travelled and adventured together with Lady Yeena and Theodrin Vamlyn. As their journeys came to an end, Hanro decided to dedicate his life to teaching young acolytes the way of the spirit, and instill a sense of duty and responsibility in them. He used all of the wealth attained by his travels to expand upon the existing monastery grounds.
Hanro had an uncanny way of knowing things he was not supposed to know. He simply stated it as being "what the wind told him". By using these powers, he was often able to foresee the visit of persons he had already met, and at times, even read the souls of new folk he met, revealing hidden truths about them that they might not know.
