Session Notes 2: - 2021.1.29

Our heroes were granted an audience with the seer who awoke with a weird imprint on her body which led to a party of elves being killed.

The diplomatic relations had a rough start, but after some time they were let into her hut.

They discussed her visions with her, and decided to go to the second location which was imprinted on her body.

The second location turned out to be an obelisk in the middle of the woods of the Stomping Grounds.

It was surrounded by spider webs, and our heroes decided to try and lure the spiders out to the edges of their quarters with fire.

This seemed to have no succes so they instead delved deeper in.

A fierce battle ensued, but our heroes emerged triumphant.

While investigating the area and tending to their wounds. David Goodson got into a discussion with an ogre sitting by the obelisk, aka his home.

Following the theme of the day, diplomatic relations were strained, and without the help of an elf from the community, it did not go too well.

A fierce battle ensued,  and the ogre was reinforced by its mate, but in the end our heroes were triumphant.

They decided to stay the night and investigate the obelisk they made great strides of progress, and figured out several interactions that the obelisk had with the mysterious cube they had in their possession.

after having done their investigation, our heroes went back to Untara. They were met with great interest from their questgiver, but the rewards did not impress them. Dispite this, they decided to follow the final clue that the seer could give them, head to the lost dwarven city of Dyndond.

After having rested a few days, they headed out so they could be under the obelisk at alligntag. They made some discoveries here, described in Under the obelisk.

Envigored by their new discoveries, our party headed out towards Grove of the Burnwillows, where rumor said that the city was located.

Upon arriving, the curious Glibnik Rotgut Dragon Eater couldn't help his curiosity, and investigated the trees closer by breaking off a branch. It whitered and died.

The party has now located and found their way inside the dwarven city, especially due to Broshov's uncanny agility.

What peril lies beneath the ancient mountain?

Only time will tell.
