Subrace of Al'uthiin

The proven silver-tongued of the Al'uthiin undergo spiritual training in order to further improve their eloquence and are titled as Sacred. These al'uthiin are viewed as consecrated, and are in line for divine pharaoh of the realm.

The Sacred adorn themselves with golden baubles, jewelry, and other attachments. They also value preserving their wraps, and in their culture it is seen as disrespect to the consecrated body of the Sacred for it to be unclean.

  • Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 2.
  • Divine Tongue. You gain proficiency in the Persuasion skill, if you already have proficiency then double your proficiency bonus with the skill.
  • Song of the Sacred. Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action to sing a divine melody that entices the eloquent but drives away the unrefined. When you use this ability, other creatures within 30 feet of you that you choose must each succeed on a wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier). If the creatures charisma score is above 14 and they fail the save, then they are charmed by you until the end of your next turn. If the creatures charisma score is 14 or below and they fail the save, then they are frightened by you until the end of your next turn.

Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
